The UFL is making there presence felt as it now seems that former Denver Broncos and Houston Texans fullback, Cecil Sapp will be the next player to leave the NFL for the United Football League.
This announcement comes from his agent, David Canter's, twitter account.
A 6 year NFL veteran, the 30 year old Sapp will be utilized in both the running back and fullback positions for the New York franchise.
Last season, the 5'11", 235lb back saw action in 12 games for the Houston Texans; after spending the first five seasons of his career with the Broncos.
During his NFL career, Sapp ran for just over 200 yards on 51 carries for an average of about 4.3 yards per carry. He also had 2 rushing touchdowns and caught 24 passes for 102 yards and 1 touchdown.
