NFL Europe is Done. The UFL’s Timing Couldn’t be Better

After 17 years of existence, the NFL Europe has officially been shut down. While they had a good run and produced about 3 real talents that eventually made their way to the NFL, it didn’t really do much to help expand the game globally. Used as a farm league of sorts for the NFL they have suffered from financial woes for years costing the NFL between 400-500 million per year to operate.
